New Build Training Facility

A design and build training facility to help maintain the already high standards of the firefighters working for Humberside Fire & Rescue. The installation includes a cold (synthetic) smoke system that provides the realistic training environment of a burning building, without the need to burn clean (new and uncontaminated) wood, which is less damaging to the environment and reduces the impact of smoke on the nearby businesses and people passing by the facility. This combined with a concept noise system, adds to the realistic training situation to maintain the Firefighters skills when responding to real emergencies.

A state of the art extract ventilation system was installed to allow emergency removal of the cold smoke at the push of a button, meaning full clearance within two minutes.
